James E Hogan, age 80, of Big Clifty, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, in Elizabethtown.

He was born on November 6, 1932 in Barren County, the son of the late John Lewis and Eula Roller Hogan.

He was a retired electrician’s assistant, who enjoyed working in the yard and fishing. He was a member of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Miller Hogan; two daughters, Cheryl Faye Saunders (Donald), and Tammy Jean Kotheimer (Tony), both of Mt. Washington; a son, James E Hogan Jr., of Louisville; two sisters, Aline VanMeter, of Bloomington, IN, and Linda Davenport, of Louisville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church. Bro Hank Gibson and Bro. Terry Priddy will be officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.
