Bonnie S. Goodman, 85, of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Spring View Health & Rehab, in Leitchfield.

She was born on December 5, 1927 in Butler County, the daughter of William McKinley and Myrtle (Ingram) Swift. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Bonnie was a member of the First General Baptist Church, in Leitchfield.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Donna Mudd of Caneyville; two grandchildren, Brad Mudd (Tonya), also of Caneyville, and Bridget Wilson (Darrell), of Morgantown; one great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Wilson, also of Morgantown, and two brothers, Lonnie Swift (Evelyn), of Caneyville, and Roger Swift, of Louisville.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Walter B. Goodman and their daughter, Kathy Gail Goodman; a son-in-law, Elton Mudd; two sisters, Ruby Cooper and Cuba Bryant, and two brothers, Archie and Forest Swift.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro Wayne Clemons officiating. Burial was in Layman Cemetery.
