Zelby Deloy “Sonny” Vincent, 71, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on November 5, 1941 in Grayson County, the son of the late Alex and Cuba (Woosley) Vincent. He attended Leitchfield Church of God of Prophecy. Sonny graduated in 1960 from the old Leitchfield High School. After graduation, Sonny started his career at Houchen’s Market where he worked for over 42 years until his retirement in 2002.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joyce (Leasor) Vincent; two sons, Anthony Vincent and his wife Judy, of Caneyville, and Eric Vincent and his wife Renee, of Germany; two step children, Rob and his wife Mandy, of Russellville, and Amy and her husband Phillip, of Hardinsburg; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Billy Mason will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.
