A Clarkson woman was transported to a local hospital on Sunday after she blacked out while driving her vehicle and struck a tree.

According to Leitchfield Police Officer Braxton Allen, Nancy Haycraft was traveling south on KY 259 when she crossed the opposite lane. Her car continued down an embankment, between Embry Road and Embry Acres Drive, into a field, and came to rest when it struck a tree.

Haycraft was transported by Grayson County EMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for possible injuries.

Allen explained that Haycraft told him that she blacked out while driving the vehicle.

The accident occurred on March 16 at around 4:30 p.m.
