Wilma Raye Goodman, age 80, of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

She was born on April 21, 1932 in Ohio County, KY, the daughter of the late Eugene Pious and Edna Earl Cooper Mollyhorn.

She was a retired assembly-line worker from Ford Motor Company, who enjoyed fishing, cooking, and quilting. She was known as “Granny” to her co-workers. She would always cook a full breakfast for them and enjoyed their friendship. She was a very giving person, and full of unconditional love for all she met. Her favorite quotation was “It is better to give than to receive.” She was a member of the United Auto Workers Union, and a member of the Clarkson Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Wayne Bratcher (Tonya), of Crestwood; one step-son, Ralph Goodman, of California; one step-daughter, Rose Jones, of Louisville; one sister, Shirley Waterbury (Charles), of Clarkson; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Paul Mollyhorn, and one sister Freda Gary.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Art Hatfield will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bates Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
