He was born July 12, 1923. He was a retired Bus Driver for Breckinridge Board of Education, a member of Coyles Cumberland Presbyterian Church and member of Hudsonville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Howard of Leitchfield; one daughter, Debbie (Dale) Self of Leitchfield; one sister, Dorothy Nacke of Louisville, Ky.; one granddaughter, Shannon (Aric) Polston of Bowling Green; one step-granddaughter, Amy of Leitchfield; two step-great-grandchildren, Blake and Bailey, both of Leitchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Emma Pryor Howard; and two brothers.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at Coyles Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Billy Carter and Bro. Jimmy Douthitt officiating.
Burial was in the Coyles Cemetery, Madrid.
Watkins-Oller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
