Wanted - Christopher Hertzog
Grayson County Sheriff Rick Clemons has continued his commitment to combat the local drug problem by locating and cleaning up another methamphetamine lab in the county.
In addition to cleaning up the lab, police are looking for Christopher Hertzog, 25, in connection with the methamphetamine lab found.
After receiving several tips about the possibility of a methamphetamine lab at 107 Miller Orchard Road in Caneyville Grayson County Sheriff Rick Clemons followed up on the lead.
Clemons and his men arrived at the residence and found numerous items that are used to manufacture methamphetamine outside the mobile home in Caneyville.
A suspect, identified as Hertzog, was seen hiding behind a riding lawn mower before he fled on foot, reported Sheriff Detective Terry Blanton
Heather McGuffin, 26, was arrested at the residence and charged with first offense manufacturing methamphetamine. McGuffin is currently being held at the Grayson County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Department was assisted with the Kentucky State Police DESI unit in the clean up of the meth lab.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Hertzog is asked to report it to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department at (270) 200-2222. All tips may remain anonymous.
