A one-vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon sent a Clarkson woman to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center after her vehicle flipped.

According to the accident report filed by Sheriff Rick Clemons, 37-year-old Brandi Terry was travelling west on St. Anthony Road approximately one mile west of Peonia when the accident occurred at just before 7 p.m.

Terry told Clemons that her vehicle dropped off of the outside shoulder of the roadway before striking a telephone pole and then a tree, and finally overturning.

Terry’s 2000 Jeep Cherokee caused damage to a telephone junction box as well as a fence belonging to Ruth Moore, of St. Anthony Road.

The vehicle came to a final rest on its side and sustained severe damage. It was removed from the scene by Terry’s Towing.

Terry, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, suffered non-incapacitating head and/or face injuries, according to the report, and was taken by ambulance to TLRMC for treatment.

There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the wreck.
