A Saturday morning accident injured one Leitchfield man on Sunbeam Road.
Marcus Compton, a 40-year-old resident of Beaver Dam Road, in Leitchfield, was travelling on Sunbeam road about three miles north of the City of Leitchfield, when the accident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to the accident report filed with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department by Deputy Bryan Hammons.
Compton, according to the report, lost control of the 2006 AMF FXS Series motorcycle he was operating as he approached an intersection. The motorcycle then overturned multiple times, and Compton was ejected.
Grayson County EMS responded and Compton was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center where eh was treated for multiple injuries.
Compton was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to Hammons’ report.
