She was born May 14, 1929 in Joppa, Ky., the daughter of Aaron and Ester Lorene Spillman Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Merrill Gordon Woosley, of Leitchfield; one son, Eric Woosley, of Leitchfield; one grandson, Matthew Woosley, of Leitchfield; one sister, Verda Miller, of Park City.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Dennison, and one brother, Troy Davis.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Church, in Big Reedy, with Bro. Donald Ray Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation continues Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home, in Leitchfield.
