John Cottrell, age 90, of Edmonson County, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Edmonson Care & Rehab.
He was born on May 12, 1922 in Spencer County, KY, the son of the late John Will and Mildred Cottrell. He was a retired foreman of the Queens Electrical Components Factory and a member of the Fairdale Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Judy Crume and her husband Phillip of Caneyville KY, Norma Routt and her husband Donald of Louisville, KY. Six grandchildren and Eight Great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro. Phillip Crume officiating. Burial was in the Layman Cemetery.
