James Douglas Staley, age 60 of Leitchfield, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at his residence.
He was born February 24, 1952 in Licking County, Ohio the son of Douglas David Staley and Merle Emma Kennedy Staley. He was a maintenance worker for the Grayson County Board of Education.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Staley, of Leitchfield; two sons, Dusty Staley (Jennifer), of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Shawn Staley, of Leitchfield; two step-sons, Bobby Gulley (Kayla), of Clarkson, and Ethan Jewell, of Leitchfield; one brother, Bob Staley, of Ohio; five grandchildren, and special friends, Amber Vultaggio and Phil and Anita Grimm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Merle Emma Kennedy Staley, and one sister, Louise Zemore.
A time of remembrance will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel, in Leitchfield.
