Harold “Bud” Dewayne Cook, age 70 of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday December 3, 2012.

He was born January 27, 1942 in Ready, Kentucky to Lillie and Ambrose Cook. He worked in the lumber business, and was a dedicated minister at the Harvest Time Apostolic Church in Bee Springs, Kentucky and the Unity Pentecostal Church in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose Cook and Lillie Cook, a sister, Faustine Mudd, and a son-in-law, John Byerline

Survivors Include his wife, Vadie Cook, of Leitchfield; two daughters, Brenda Byerline, of Bowling Green, and Sandy Ralph (Melvin), of Morgantown; three sons, Darrell Cook (Phyllis), of Leitchfield, William Cook (Carrie), of Franklin, Tennessee, and Wendell Cook (Shannon) of Sellersburg, Indiana; four grandsons, Jeff Byerline, Tyler Cook, Kaleb Cook, and Tanner Cook; four granddaughters, Misty Weedman, Kelly Daughtery, Shayna Cook, and Sophie Cook; three great-grandchildren, Kaylei Weedman, AJ Byerline, and Peyton Weedman, and one sister, Velma Jean Allen, of Hutchinson, Kansa.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Bros. Wendell Cook, Billy Hack and Lyndon Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Raymer Cemetery.
