To help battle chronic diseases affecting Grayson County children such as obesity and diabetes, a number of community organizations have come together to sponsor the Longest Day of Play.
Activities will include a 30-feet inflatable obstacle course, frisbee-toss, bubble chase, sponge freeze tag, high energy dancing, a Simon Says game, and more.
There will also be drawings for prizes, which include several youth bicycles.
The event will be held Thursday, June 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Firefighter’s Park in Leitchfield. For more information, contact the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center Rehab department at 270-259-9469.
