A hit-and-run driver appears to be responsible for a Peonia Road accident which severely damaged the 2000 Chrysler Concorde operated by 23-year-old Sarah L. Goodman, of Clarkson .
Goodman told Chief Deputy Tony Willen, with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office that a red truck sideswiped her vehicle approximately six miles south of Clarkson, and then fled the scene.
Goodman said that she lost control of her vehicle following the impact, and struck a ditch before continuing on through a fence on the property belonging to Roger Clemons.
Goodman’s vehicle came to a final rest in a field near the roadway.
According to the accident report filed with the GCSO, neither the red truck or its driver have yet been found.
