One man was injured when the 2001 Chevrolet S10 4x2 he was driving overturned multiple times at 4600 Shrewsbury Road at around 3 p.m. on Monday, December 9.
Tyler Johnson, 17, of Bee Springs, was driving Brad Johnson’s Chevrolet when the truck ran off the right side of the road, came back up on the road, and over-corrected, according to the accident report by the responding Grayson County Sheriff’s Office.
The Chevrolet then reportedly struck an earth embankment, ran into a field, and overturned multiple times before coming to a rest on its tires, the report read.
Johnson received first aid for accident-related injuries from Grayson County Emergency Medical Services at the scene and was later transported from the scene by GC EMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for further treatment, the report read.
No other individuals were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, and the Chevrolet was towed from the scene by Sonny’s Wrecker Service.
The Leitchfield Fire Department also responded to the accident.
