An Anneta man and woman were injured Thursday morning by a rolling, unmanned vehicle.
According to an accident report filed by Chief Deputy Tony Willen, with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, a 2014 Kia Soul which was parked at a residence at 644 Foxwood Circle in Anneta, began to roll downhill, toward the home.
The vehicle’s owner, 74-year-old Patricia Saylor, attempted to catch the vehicle and stop it, but fell and became injured in her effort to control the car.
The vehicle continued on and pinned 44-year-old Leonard Lee against the deck at the rear of the home.
Grayson County EMS responded to the scene and treated Saylor for non-incapacitating leg injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room for further treatment.
Lee declined medical treatment at the time, but was transported to TLRMC’s ER on Friday morning, suffering from stomache, back and neck pain related to the accident.
