A Grayson County woman was removed from the wreckage of a Tuesday morning wreck along Brandenburg Road, approximately one mile north of Leitchfield.

52-year-old Vivian McQueen, of Eveleigh Road in Leitchfield, was travelling north at approximately 5:37 a.m. when multiple deer came into the roadway in front of her vehicle, she told responding officer Sheriff Rick Clemons.

According to the report filed with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, McQueen then lost control of her 2008 Kia, and left the roadway on the left side before striking am embankment and overturning.

McQueen was pinned inside the vehicle, Clemons said, and had to be removed by Leitchfield Fire Department members who cut the roof off of the car to extract her.

McQueen was uninjured in the collision. The vehicle was severely damaged, and was removed from the scene by Galloway’s Wrecker Service.
