A new “ticket booth” was established at the entrance of Logsdon Valley Park (near the Grayson County Judicial Center) on Monday, Aug. 21.

Sponsored by the Grayson County Fiscal Court, the ticket booth will provide groups, such as the Public Trails Association of Grayson County and others, with an opportunity to collect optional donations for fundraising events, even though there is no charge for groups to use the outdoor amphitheatre.

The Fiscal Court funded the $9,000 cost of constructing the ticket booth through a grant totaling $13,480.91.The grant was awarded to build a concession stand.

The county hopes the remaining $4,480.91 will cover the cost of completing the project, which will include using concrete to set the booth in place.
