Leitchfield man charged with drug trafficking

Staff Report

Over the past several months, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has received multiple complaints of reckless drivers and possible drug activity on Shull White Road in Leitchfield.

This information was shared with the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force (GHCNTF) detectives, and, on Monday, July 25, 2016, the GHCNTF charged a 26-year-old—whose identity was not released by authorities and who lived on Shull White Road—with Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8 ozs., Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, according to Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins in a news release.

“Traffic and complaints on Shull White Road [have] reduced dramatically since Monday, and the Sheriff’s Office would like to remind Mr. Dope Dealer that we will continue our extra patrols looking for reckless drivers leaving his residence until he stops selling the weed,” wrote Chaffins in the release.
