The 2016 Woodland Owners Short Course programs have started and represent a great opportunity for woodland owners and those with an interest in woodlands and wildlife to learn how to make their woodlands as healthy and productive as possible.
The next Short Course will be July 30 in Eastern Kentucky in Breathitt County, and then on Aug. 13 in Western Kentucky in Caldwell County. Attendees have two tracks to choose from: Green for those just getting started in managing their woodlands and Gold for those that have been actively managing their woodlands for a while.
This year, all attendees will be able to finish their own cutting boards using certified wood.
