The American Legion Post 81 is accepting applications for its first Art Fair this coming September.
The Art Fair will be Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with vendors setting up at 6 a.m.
Any artist or craftsperson is welcome, as well as vendors. Some vendors that are going to be found at the Art Fair so far are Avon, Paparazzi, and Thirty-One.
Spaces will be 10’ x 10’ and can be rented for $30.
This money will go to the American Legion Canine for a Veteran Program and the American Legion Auxiliary National Security Program.
Event organizer Janet Cook had noticed the success at the art fairs she attended, and noted that many people were looking for craft and art fairs to enter.
“I thought that it would be a great opportunity,” said Cook.
For an application, contact Cook, and she will either e-mail the application or meet with anyone interested to give the application personally.
Applications for artists and vendors will be accepted from now to the first of August, so that Cook can plan the set up before the Fair.
Some applications will be accepted mid-August, if necessary.
