Each spring local residents send in their votes in support of Grayson County’s “Best of the Best.”

With categories running the gamut from best shops, businesses and food to teachers, receptionists and doctors, honors are handed out to dozens of deserving businesses, organizations and individuals as a ‘thank you’ from the community and your local newspaper, The Grayson County News-Gazette.

The Gazette has printed forms in our Wednesday and Saturday editions each spring since the contest began many years ago, but this year we have provided residents with a simple new way to vote - online.

Anyone interested in voting can still fill out the paper form and bring it by or mail it in to our office at 40 Public Square, Leitchfield. However, if a quick online survey is your preference, simply visit www.gcnewsgazette.com and click on “Reader’s Choice 2014 Vote” to the right on our main page.

Online voting has already begun and will continue through Monday, June 16 at midnight. Paper ballots may be turned in between now and Monday, June 16 at 5 p.m.

Once the votes have been tallied, the winners will be announced in our Saturday, June 28 edition.

Log on or grab a pencil today and cast your vote of appreciation for Grayson County’s Best of the Best!
