UPDATED: One injured in Golfcourse Rd. wreck

One individual was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Wednesday, May 28.


At around 7:11 p.m. on Wednesday, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Leitchfield Fire Department, and Grayson County Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to a report of an overturned vehicle on Golfcourse Road in Leitchfield.


According to GCSO Deputy Bryan Hammons, a Ford Explorer had been travelling north toward Leitchfield when it left the roadway and overturned on its passenger side near the entrance to Golfcourse Road.


The driver of the Explorer, Michael Miller, of Hudson, Ky, was transported from the scene by GC EMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.


Miller reportedly complained of shoulder pain as a result of the crash and was later treated and released from the TLRMC emergency room, Hammons said.
