A female juvenile was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 near the “Y” on Thursday afternoon, May 22.
At around 2:57 p.m. on Thursday, the Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments and Grayson County Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a two-vehicle injury crash near the “Y” on Highway 62.
LPD Patrolman Ian Renfrow, who investigated the accident, said on the scene that the wreck was “a standard rear-end collision.”
One female juvenile was transported by GC EMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening, accident-related injuries.
Renfrow said the juvenile, whose name has not yet been released, had complained of neck pain.
The two vehicles involved in the accident were travelling east on Hwy 62 at the time of the crash, and each contained two passengers.
The names of the other individuals involved in the wreck, as well as the makes and models of the two vehicles, have not yet been released.
