Grayson County’s Primary Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 20.
Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Citizens will have the opportunity to vote for the following political offices:
United States Senator; District 18 State Representative; County Judge-Executive; County Sheriff; County Jailer; County Attorney; County Clerk; Property Valuation Administrator; County Coroner; Magistrate 1st District; Magistrate 2nd District; Magistrate 3rd District; Magistrate 4th District; Magistrate 5th District; Magistrate 6th District; Constable 1st District; Constable 2nd District; Constable 3rd District; Constable 4th District; Constable 5th District; and Constable 6th District.
Voting districts have been divided into the six Grayson County magisterial districts for Tuesday’s primary election.
The 1st District consists of East Leitchfield, Clarkson, and East A Leitchfield. The 2nd District consists of Caneyville, Spring Lick, Falls of Rough, Yeaman, and Short Creek. The 3rd District consists of Millwood, West A Leitchfield, and North Leitchfield. The 4th District consists of Big Clifty, North A Leitchfield, and Horntown. The 5th District consists of Rock Creek, Anneta, Millerstown, and South A Leitchfield. And the 6th District consists of Southwest Leitchfield, Arlington, Shrewsbury, and Ready.
Polling places for the primary elections are as follows:
Residents of East Leitchfield and West A Leitchfield will vote at the old hospital building, located at 125 E. Market St., Leitchfield.
Clarkson residents will vote at Clarkson Elementary School, located at 310 Millerstown St.
Residents of East A Leitchfield, North Leitchfield, and North A Leitchfield will vote at Grayson County Middle School, located at 726 John Hill Taylor Dr., Leitchfield.
Caneyville residents will vote at Caneyville Elementary School, located at 521 E. Maple St.
Spring Lick residents will vote at the building on Jerry Fraim’s farm, located at 444 Yeaman Rd., Caneyville.
Falls of Rough residents will vote at the Fire Department Aux. Building HWY 110, located at 123 Green Farm Rd., Falls of Rough.
Yeaman residents will vote in the Comm. Building, located at 6584 Yeaman Rd., Caneyville.
Short Creek residents will vote at the Methodist Church Building, located at 10700 Owensboro Rd., Falls of Rough.
Millwood residents will vote at the Millwood Comm. Building, located at 6181 Beaver Dam Rd.
Big Clifty residents will vote at the Community Building, located at 284 Cemetery Rd., Big Clifty.
Horntown residents will vote at 6 M E of Clarkson HWY 224, located at 34 Mt. Moriah Rd., Clarkson.
Rock Creek residents will vote at HWY 1214 at the Intersection with 1356, located at 10658 Grayson Springs Rd., Clarkson.
Anneta residents will vote at the Knights of Columbus building, located at 1219 St. Anthony Church Rd., Clarkson.
Millerstown residents will vote at the building located at 21 Ward Rd., Clarkson, across from the church.
Residents of South A Leitchfield and Southwest Leitchfield will vote at the Public Square court house, located at 10 Public Sq., Leitchfield.
Arlington residents will vote at Grayson County High School, located at 340 School House Rd., Leitchfield.
Shrewsbury residents will vote at the building at the Masonic Lodge, located at 141 Rabbit Flat Rd., Caneyville.
And Ready residents will vote at the R. Mudd Building, located at 3821 Bowling Green Rd., Caneyville, by the old post office.
