New students should get their applications in as soon as possible, and complete their files, including financial aid, which is available to those who qualify. To apply for financial aid, go to www.fafsa.gov. Students can take the COMPASS placement test, if necessary, and meet with an advisor to enroll in classes and have their schedules ready before the end of the year. Applications can be submitted online at www.elizabethtown.kctcs.edu/admissions.
Students who are interested in enrolling in classes at Fort Knox or the Leitchfield or Springfield Campuses should call those campuses for an appointment. Fort Knox: 270-706-8858; Leitchfield Campus: 270-250-1540; Springfield Campus: 859-336-1361.
ECTC and all of its campuses will be closed for institutional shutdown from December 21 through January 5. It is strongly recommended that students get their files completed before that time.
Those students who will register for classes in January must follow the designated alphabetic schedule if they register at the Elizabethtown Campus. Students may register anytime during or after their assigned date and time. Registration is Wednesday and Thursday, January 8 and 9, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. as follows:

Fort Knox walk-in registration is January 8 and 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students who register for classes before January 10 must pay tuition and fees by January 10 or their classes will be cancelled. The deadline to pay tuition for second bi-term classes is March 6, 2014. Students can make payment arrangements through the business office.
