The winners of the 2018 Grayson County Fair pageants were crowned this week.

On Tuesday night, Grayson County native and current Western Kentucky University Sophomore Melanie Horn was crowned Miss Grayson County Fair 2018 by last year's winner, Amber Horn.

Other contestants who placed were Keragan Collard, who was named first runner-up; Maddy Blaylock, who was named second runner-up; Bailey Martin, who was named third runner-up; and Sadie Stone, who was named fourth runner-up, as well as Miss Congeniality.

Also on Tuesday, Grayson County High School Freshman Allyson VanMeter was crowned Miss Teen Grayson County Fair 2018 by last year's winner, Raigan Cave. Allisan Everton was named first runner-up, and Ciara Black was named second runner-up.

The last category decided Tuesday was Miss Pre-Teen Grayson County Fair, and this pageant saw Grayson County native Rilee Jo Penner crowned Miss Pre-Teen Grayson County Fair 2018 by last year's winner, Hannah Franklin. Callie Lindsey was named first runner-up, as well as Miss Congeniality, and Shaylee Hampton was named second runner-up.

The pageants for birth through 7-years-old, as well as the Little Miss and Mister pageant, were held on Wednesday.

The 0-6 month boys winner was Bryson Day. Liam Martin was first runner-up, Bentley Green was second runner-up and Julian Sebastian was third runner-up. The 0-6 month girls winner was Diamond Fentress. Isabella Whitaker was first runner-up, and Kenlee Jarboe was second runner-up.

The 7-11 month boys winner was Theodore Miller. Isaiah Vanmeter was first runner-up, and Castiel Koos was second runner-up. The 7-11 month girls winner was Emery Sosh. Mila McCubbin was first runner-up, Marley Miller was second runner-up, and Isabella Dennis was third runner-up.

The 12-23 month boys winner was Xavier Neighbors. Adler Tucker was first runner-up, Benjamin Day was second runner-up, and Cam Johnson was third runner-up. The 12-23 month girls winner was Adilyn Stafford. Emerson Jenkins was first runner-up, Bailey Wood was second runner-up, and Olivia King was third runner-up.

The 24-35 month boys winner was Landon Peyton. Jackson Strader was first runner-up, and Logan Smith was second runner-up. The 24-35 month girls winner was Chloe Sosh. Mya Kerr was first runner-up, Kaylyn Hooten was second runner-up, and Jordan Elmore was third runner-up.

The 36-48 month boys winner was Rylyn Saltsman. Levi Davis was first runner-up, and Joshua Carroll was second runner-up. The 36-48 month girls winner was Lenna Dennison. Payton Southit was first runner-up, Bristol Mudd was second runner-up, and Sadie Whitfill was third runner-up.

The 5-7 years winner was Hila Puckett. Gracie Jaggers was first runner-up, Lily Carroll was second runner-up, and Hadley Saltsman was third runner-up.

Carolyn House and Canaan Mattingly were crowned Little Miss and Mister Grayson County Fair. They will represent the Grayson County Fair at the KY State Little Miss and Mr. Fair in August 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Lastly, the Ms. and Mrs. Grayson County Fair pageants were held simultaneously on Thursday night, and the inaugural Ms. Grayson County Fair, Jayme Pharis, was on hand to crown the winners of these two pageants.

First, Emily Strader, a phlebotomist at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, was crowned Ms. Grayson County Fair 2018.

Then, Devon Mattingly, a hair stylist with The Pink Possum Salon, was crowned Mrs. Grayson County Fair 2018.
